The medical spa industry is saturated with several types of facial treatments. At Bella Rose Aesthetics, we have quite a few. What are these types of facial treatments, and what do they achieve?
Keep reading to find out.
What are Facial Treatments?
The face is almost always the first thing people notice about us. Your appearance and even general health can benefit greatly from facial treatments. Facial treatments increase circulation in addition to cellular health and collagen formation.
Regular facial treatments improve your skin’s appearance, texture, and tone while promoting relaxation. Facial treatments might be a fantastic choice for you if you want to improve the appearance of your skin or if you have a particular skin concern. Numerous advantages of facial treatments include improved skin health and a younger-looking appearance.
The Different Types of Facial Treatments Bella Rose Aesthetics Offers
Bella Rose Aesthetics offers multiple kinds of facial treatments. These treatments include:
- Dermal fillers
- Dermaplaning
- Microneedling (can be combined with PRP/PRF)
- PDO Threads
- Neurotoxins
Let’s take a closer look at these facial treatments individually.
Dermal Fillers
Dermal fillers, like Versa®, Restylane®, and JUVÉDERM®, are gel-like compounds that are injected beneath the skin to enhance facial contours, smooth out wrinkles, and replace lost volume. Hyaluronic acid, used to make the dermal fillers at Bella Rose Aesthetics, is a protein that naturally attracts and holds onto water molecules.
Dermal fillers temporarily enhance volume where you need it most when they are put into your skin. Your skin will return to its natural state as the treatment wears off.
Each filler is specially made to have a particular texture and feel. Therefore they all offer different advantages. Depending on the precise filler used and where it is injected, the effects might last anywhere from three months to two years.
Dermaplaning
Dermaplaning is a simple, efficient exfoliation technique that promotes smooth skin by removing dead skin cells. It also prevents facial hair from clogging pores with oil and grime. The procedure uses a dull blade to exfoliate dead skin cells and eliminate peach fuzz.
Dead skin cells, grime, oils, cosmetics, and facial hair make up the skin’s outer layer. The peach fuzz on your face is made up of tiny, downy hairs that emerge from your skin’s surface to form follicles; they are noticeable when they do so.
These damaging substances that result in congestion, blackheads, and skin outbreaks are eliminated during the dermaplaning technique. The absence of hair follicles allows the skin to breathe freely and without hindrance. Your skin will appear gorgeous!
- Instantly diminishes the appearance of fine lines
- Removes peach fuzz
- Facilitates better absorption of skincare products
- Improves skin appearance
- Enhances skin tone and texture
A dermaplaning session typically lasts 30-minute. It can be done once a month or more frequently to maintain skin that looks young and radiant!
Microneedling
Because it increases collagen production, microneedling is also referred to as “collagen induction therapy.” Not only is microneedling non-invasive, and contains elements that cooperate with your body to hasten the healing process. Microneedling produces plumper, smoother, and more firm skin by promoting collagen and elastin production.
Large pores, uneven texture, acne scars, hyperpigmentation, loose skin, fine lines and wrinkles, sun damage, loose skin, and traumatic scars can all be treated with microneedling.
The Rejuvapen NXT®, a microneedling device, is used at Bella Rose Aesthetics to make minute incisions on the skin’s surface. The skin’s natural repair process, as a result, ramps up and begins to produce collagen and elastin.
This facial treatment can last for as short as 10 minutes.
Microneedling with PRP/PRF
Fine lines, wrinkles, and scars can be diminished using PRP (platelet-rich plasma) or PRF (platelet-rich fibrin) therapy, sometimes known as the “Vampire Facial®.” Blood is extracted during PRP or PRF therapy, then spun in a centrifuge to separate the plasma and platelet-rich plasma (PRP), which is rich in growth factors, from the red blood cells.
Collagen is prompted by microneedling the PRP or PRF back into the skin, producing new tissue. Growth factors, which are present in platelets, help the body’s cells to become active and youthful. Patients with a more youthful, radiant complexion frequently observe improved acne scars and hyperpigmentation.
PDO Threads
PDO (polydioxanone) threads are a minimally invasive facial treatment we provide at Bella Rose Aesthetics. Thanks to the novel procedure, you won’t need invasive surgery to appear and feel younger.
PDO threads are surgical sutures that dissolve and can be used to lift, tighten, and shape your skin. They aid in promoting collagen synthesis, which helps you appear firm and youthful. You can extend the youthful appearance of your non-surgical facelift with PDO Threads for an extra 12 to 24 months with regular skin care.
- Instant lifting, tightening, and contouring
- Skin rejuvenation
- Improved circulation and hydration
- Reduced wrinkles
- Even skin tone
- Non-surgical
- Minimally invasive
- Little to no downtime
- Lasts 12-24 months
Neurotoxins
By momentarily but effectively impeding some muscle movements, injectable neurotoxins, also known as neuromodulators, such as Botox®, Xeomin®, Dysport®, and Jeuveau® are used to cure and prevent fine lines and wrinkles. These products can keep your skin looking younger without surgery or much recovery time.
Skin wrinkles become permanent as a result of repeated facial expressions. The underlying muscles are relaxed as these neurotoxins, which contain botulinum toxin A, are deliberately injected. As a result, fine lines and wrinkles in the treatment area fade or even disappear for up to four months.
Neurotoxins come in a variety of brands, such as Botox®, Xeomin®, Dysport®, and Jeuveau®. The way they all relax wrinkles is the same. However, slight variations in the number of injections may occur due to minor differences in the products.
