Dermal fillers, such as JUVÉDERM®, Restylane®, and Versa® are gel-like substances that are injected underneath the skin to restore lost volume, smooth lines, or enhance facial contours. Using dermal fillers to make changes in the appearance of your skin is becoming much more popular with people having wrinkle treatments, lip enhancement procedures, and other rejuvenating cosmetic surgery. The Dermal Fillers we use at Bella Rose Aesthetics are made from hyaluronic acid, which has the protein properties to attract water molecules and then retains them naturally. This means that when dermal fillers are injected into your skin, they temporarily increase volume where you need it most. Once the product dissipates over time (usually within 1-2 years), your skin will return to its normal state.
Each filler is uniquely formulated to have a certain texture and feel, which means different fillers provide different benefits. The effects can last anywhere between three months and two years, depending on the specific filler used and the area where it is injected.
